I would fully recommend this book to everyone. It has little bits of action and non action parts. This story sounds like what happened to Ethan could be true, like a kid named Ethan wrote this book about what happened to him! Anyways, this book has a little something for everyone who feels like they want to read a reality book but dont want to get depressed by thinking how sad the person felt :(. It makes you wonder.

Ethan Suspended was a really good book to me. i actually liked it a lot more then schooled. i would probroblly recomend this book to my cousin Katey, because her parents had gotten divorced and she spent a lot of time with her grandparents during that time. i would also recomend this book to some of the boys in 6th grade like Gabe and Conrad and Amos, Jordon and Franklin because its an easy read and i'm sure they will enjoy the book. this book was definatly my favorite compared to Schooled

This book Schooled is about a boy who gets sent to live with his grandparents without knowing why. He goes to a new school that seems not to nice to him.

I would recommend the book Ethan, Suspended to almost anybody. It isn't an entertaining read, at least not much. But, it has an awesome story line. Pamela Ehrenberg is a good author and enjoyed Ethan suspended. Ethan is an eighth grade boy who got suspended, and got sent off to his grandparents. He misses home, but he's surviving without his old stuff. When the time comes to leave a few months later, he almost didn't. This book was a little actiony, mostly not, though. It enjoys me. Once again, I would recommend it to almost antbody.

The book "Ethan suspended" by Pamela Ehrenberg is a story about everyday life for a kid going to a new school and going through a big change. After being suspended from his old middle school Ethan is sent to his grandparents house in Washington D.C. for a new start. Ethan is treated like a freak, getting stared at and blamed for farts, but his life is turned around when he starts a program with is friend Sharita. I would recommend this book to any one that likes drama because even though this book isn't filled with it every second theres definately enough to keep you in suspense.

I would recommend it to other7th and 8th gaders. Ethan got suspended for two weeks. So his mom sent him to his grandparents. His sister was the only one was talking to him. His mom was not talking to him. He had to to go to a new school he had no friends and he was lonly.

I didn't like this book very much. The writing style was not up to my standards, the story line was all over the place, and the book seemed very confusing and childish to me. I would have liked it better if there was a consistent storyline, and the writing style was more "grown-up." I did enjoy the fact that it seemed to show how bad racism is throughout the book.

i would recommend this book to other 7th 8th graders and maybe 6th grade. the reason why i would recmmend this book to them is because you can kinda relate to ethan. this book is about a boy named ethan who is in 8th grade. his life is changing so fast that he is so confused. ethan is sent to his grandparents because he did somthing bad. where he goes to a only school with black people will he make it out of that school alive. read the book to find out. this book keeps you wanting more and wanting less at the same time. the book is boring then gets crazy fun this book is a crazy rollercoaster.

I would recommend it because i thought it was a good book and i think that other people in my grade would like it too. It was just about a boy who got suspended hence the title Ethan suspended. Ethan the boy in the boy over time learns to appriciate things more than he did at the beginning. When he is sent to his grandparent none of his family really talked to him but his sister. But he makes friend and yep.

I would recommend this book because it has a lot of middle school drama that some middle schoolers can relate to. Overall, I think the book was good. Ethan was suspended from his old school in Maple Heights, and after that he was shipped to his grandparents' house in D.C. He had to start going to a new school where he knew nobody. While he was staying with his grandparents, he had to eat old people food like something on rye bread. He met a few people and got into some gang drama, girl drama, and from the beginning he was experiencing family drama. This whole book is full of a lot of drama. At the end he goes back to Maple Heights with his mom. I think he should've stayed in D.C.
